FIFA World Cup in Qatar - in winter!? 25.02.2015 news

The Working Group of the International Football Federation has proposed to the World Cup 2022 game in November and December.
Much controversy has driven past few months about whether the World Cup in Qatar 2022 should be played in a standard term, years ago, because of the great heat in the country. FIFA has finally officially announced and submitted to the World Cup in 2022 should be played in November and December and with a shortened term maintenance. FIFA Task Force did not foresee reducing competition format of 32 teams and 64 match, but the tournament could be shortened to a few days. If the recommendations of the Working Group adopted by FIFA in March, this would be in conflict with the proposal of the European leagues that would more like to the World Cup held in the period April - May.
