John Utaka (born January 8 , 1982 ) is a Nigerian football player. He has played for several clubs across three continents, first for Arab Contractors and subsequently Ismaily of Egypt , then spending a season playing for Al Sadd of Qatar , before joining Racing Lens in France. He now plays for Rennes in France . He is able to play in all attacking positions, but prefers to lurk behind the forward as a shadow striker. His best quality on the pitch is said to be his dribbling skills. Utaka struggled to make an impact at the start of his Rennes stint. However, he took advantage of the absence of fellow striker Alexander Frei , now of Borussia Dortmund , through injury to make his breakthrough. Football - UEFA Euro 08 Qualifier - Andorra VS England

England defeated Andorra in Barcelona 3-0. Two FANTASTIC goals by Steven Gerrard in the 54th and 76th minute of the match. Then there was some confusion in who scored the third goal between Jermain Defoe and David Nugent. The goal was given to David Nugent meaning he scored on his debut for England in the 92nd minute in stoppage time.

Portugal-Azerbaijan

What a great match from Portugal against Azerbaijan. At the Stadium of Bessa, the boys from Luiz Felipe Scolari got the best against an eastern team that had 3 brazilians playing for them. Even so, a great display of quality from Cristiano Ronaldo and a good exhibition from Deco, Maniche, Simão and Miguel were enough for a 3-0 victory that could have been clearer. Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice and Ricardo Carvalho did the goal that you can see in this videolog.

Football - UEFA Euro 08 Qualifier - Kazakhstan VS Serbia

The first goal came from Kazakhstan's Kairat Ashirbekov in the 47th minute. The second goal came from Kazakhstan's Nurbol Zhumaskaliyev in the 61st minute off a spectacular header from a corner set piece. The third and final goal of the match came from Nikola Zigic in the 68th minute of the match. Overall a wonderful match to see live.
